Ubisoft anuncia su nuevo juego de las Tortugas Ninja

Hace algún tiempo ya os hablamos de un nuevo juego basado en la franquicia de las Tortugas Ninja que estaba en desarrollo para Wii.

Pues hoy Ubisoft nos confirma muy amablemente que distribuirá dicho juego y nos mandan unas pocas capturias. Aunque no tiene aún título oficial, las imágenes que nos han hecho llegar llevan de nombre "TMNT Smash Up", lo cual, teniendo en cuenta que está siendo desarrollado por Game Arts (los mismos de Super Smash Bros. Brawl) y que será un juego de lucha, suena a declaración de intenciones en toda regla.

El juego, que saldrá este otoño exclusivamente para Wii, será presentado más en profundidad en un evento especial durante la conmemoración de los 25 años que cumple la franquicia, en una fiesta que alguna mente pensante hiperdesarrollada ha bautizado ingeniosamente como la "shell-ebration".

UBISOFT® CELEBRATES 25th ANNIVERSARY OF TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES® WITH LAUNCH OF NEW VIDEO GAME

SAN FRANCISCO – January 26, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announced that it will launch an all-new, original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® (TMNT®) video game – the first that is not tied to a TMNT® movie, television show or comic book – which will be a four-player action fighting title. The game is being developed by Game Arts, noted for working on the critically acclaimed Super Smash Bros.(TM) Brawl for Wii(TM). Scheduled for release in fall 2009, the video game will be a key event in the year-long "Shell-ebration” of the 25th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® which, in addition to the video game launch, will include new and exciting products and experiences for TMNT® fans in the U.S. and around the world.
The success of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles® in various media has been sustained over the last 25 years with numerous "bests,” including: the best-selling video game on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2007; and in the late '80s and early '90s, the No.1-rated Saturday morning TV show in the US; the No.1-rated daily syndicated animated TV strip for children; the No.1 Nintendo Entertainment System(TM) and Game Boy(TM) Advance video game in the world and the No.1 live touring arena show in the U.S.

    Uau... Gráficos demasiado avanzados para ser un juego de Playstation... Quizá sea un juego de DreamCast, o PS2, quizas..

    Porque.. no es un juego para una consola de la generacion actual, verdad? Seria un poco broma de mal gusto viendo esa rata poligonal, o esos carteles de neon pixelados...

    PD: Solo habia visto las fotos.. Pero acabo de leer el articulo y sí, es un juego de la generacion actual. Que triste. Ellas no lo harian.

    Para no estar relacionado con ninguna pelicula, los diseños son jodidamente identicos a los de la peli del 2007,eh?

    Yo sólo voy a recordar que hace un año y poco, Ubi ya sacó un juego de las TMNT, basada en la nueva peli. Y era malo con ganas. No veo yo la expectación por este juego, más allá de que no es un trainer.

    Si los desarroladores son gente del Team Ninja (Se mencionaba en el otro árticulo) y de los del Smash Bros seguro que vale la pena jugarlo....pero los gráficos efectivamente dan cosica los pobres U_U

    No se cómo se verá en movimiento pero así quietito da pena. No es que esté mal hecho (que lo está) es que es feo.

    Por otro lado me gusta el detalle del pie de Raphael de la primera foto, parece que las animaciones se adaptan al terreno con lo que los gráficos podrían mejorar de aquí a que se publique
